2001 lumbar spine injury shown in multiple videos occurred during a sitting meditation while participating in a residential meditation retreat at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Cause of injury and inability to experience symptoms including pain and compensated posture are being investigated. Numbness in right foot and calf, inability to stand on right foot toes and intermittent radiculapothy were experienced after injury occurred. Upright, erect posture and normal gait experienced from time of injury through to present.
