I am scheduled to have this done in a couple of weeks, and I are very nervous. This is a new procedure where they use a laser to decompress the disc, instead of fusing it or taking it out. No insicion on your back, just one little hole for the laser as apposed to the old type where they have to cut a long scar on your spine. Took a long time for the insurance to approve this procedure because they say it is still experimental. I was glad to get it approved, I`m in a lot of pain, but now that the time has come I don`t know. Any one know of anyone who has had this done and their results? Thanks!
